I have been informed that the correct term is 'sweeping the membranes'. There will be no stripping (unfortunately). There will be no sweeping as well. We decided against it, plus the OB wouldn't do it anyway (apparently they'll only do it at 39 weeks, and we're only at 38 weeks and 6 days.) We'll have the option available at our next visit, if we make it that long.
